Bulldogs Citizens are Respectful, Responsible, Kind and Safe

Friday, June 8th, will be Bidwell's annual play day.  The kids will have the opportunity to participate in all kinds of fun activities.  The expectation is that the kids will still follow the dress code.  No bathing suits (except for kindergarten) and only shoes with backs.  This means no flip-flops.  Come to school prepared to have a good time.

Box Tops for Education

Did you know that Bidwell School saves box tops?  They can be found on many products (cereal, granola bars, snacks, etc.).  Our school gets money for each little box top we send in. Last year we earned $2000.  Our goal this is to earn $5000.  The money will be used for playground equipment that all the kids will be able to enjoy.  Check those boxes, clip those tops, and send them in to school!  You can check the status of our goal by clicking the link below.

Friday will be our last Friday Morning Line Up.  We will be promoting the fifth graders to sixth grade.  Parents are welcome to attend.  Line Up starts at 8:15 AM.

It was quite the festive morning at Line Up on June 1st.  In addition to our regular citizenship celebrations, there were several presentations. Kindergarten performed "What a Wonderful World."  The first grade classes performed an original song about moving on to second grade. The third graders played "Yankee Doodle" on their recorders.  Mrs. Scott recognized the TWENTY-NINE kids who read a million words or more. A great big shout out was given to Home Depot for the hard work they have put in installing Bidwell's new serenity garden.
